About The Artists
Dasha Rush
Dasha Rush, a Russian-born, French national based in Berlin, is a multifaceted artist whose global travels fuel her diverse electronic music and art projects, spanning releases on labels like Sonic Groove and Raster Noton, as well as her own imprints, Fullpanda Records and Hunger to Create; beginning her career as a pioneering female DJ/producer in Moscow, she gained international recognition after moving to France in 1996, evolving into a composer and DJ who defies genre boundaries, drawing inspiration from early 20th-century underground music and collaborating with dancers and painters. Her work, exemplified by the contradictory and liminal nature of her "Sleepstep" album, reflects a dedication to experimentation and independence, pushing contemporary music's limits through multidisciplinary projects like "Antarctic Takt" and "Les Territoires Ephemeres," which integrate scientific themes, Japanese butoh, theatre, poetry, and digital visuals; ultimately, Rush is a live performer, composer, sound artist, and techno DJ whose work transcends the dance floor, crafting a neo-romanticism where machines become protagonists within human dreams.
David Castellani
David Castellani, an L.A.-based, Italian-born electronic producer and modular synthesist, crafts peak-time, dance floor-driven techno fueled by analog hardware, showcasing intricate modern production while remaining true to the raw energy of warehouse raves; his musical journey began as a jazz-fusion percussionist in Chicago, followed by classical training, before transitioning to electronic music, leading to releases, collaborations, and remixes with artists like Mr.C; now in Los Angeles, Castellani has launched his record imprint, Noetic, which champions smart and dynamic techno, emphasizing modular synthesizers and analog hardware to deliver hypnotic sound design, explosive lead lines, and futuristic sound palettes; beyond music, he explores design as co-owner of the art-driven fashion line, After Infinite, and co-founder of the modular synthesizer company, Anti-Kulture.
JIA
Polygonia
Polygonia, a multidisciplinary music and art project by Munich-based Lindsey Wang, blends her background in acoustic instruments and cultural interests into an organic, mystical sonic landscape that traverses groovy techno, breakbeat, bass music, and other genres, with nature as a key inspiration, as evidenced by releases on labels like Bambe, Midgar Records, and ara; her dynamic DJ and live sets, ranging from intense body music to emotional interludes, have earned her residencies at prestigious venues like Tresor, Berghain, and BLITZ, while her collaborative spirit is further demonstrated through co-founding the IO collective and label, the jazz-electronic fusion band Lyder, her own label QEONE, and a partnership with jazz drummer Simon Popp.
