Wata Igarashi
Wata Igarashi has crafted a unique sound that blends euphoric and psychedelic elements, characterized by crystalline structures and shimmering intensity. His distinctive approach to techno is showcased through a series of EPs on labels like Midgar, The Bunker NY, Semantica, Time to Express, and Bitta. Recent remixes for artists such as Aurora Halal, Volte-Face, and Prins Thomas further highlight his impressive production skills.
Igarashi's meticulous attention to frequencies and intensities is also evident in his performances, whether he is DJing or playing live. His ability to shape the dancefloor while delving into the more psychedelic aspects of techno creates a captivating experience that energizes both body and mind. This thoughtful approach not only stimulates physical movement but also evokes deep emotional responses, making his work a compelling fusion of sound and sensation.
SECUS
Secus has been involved in the techno scene for over a decade, first discovering underground techno in his hometown of Los Angeles. He co-founded the label Ascetic Limited led by Altrd Being and himself, together as Motionen, pushing deep techno sounds with artists from around the globe. Originally a drummer, he is strongly influenced by jazz and metal genre's, translating their deep, driving, and technical elements into his own composition of techno. In 2018 he started releasing his solo work, releasing on labels such as Dynamic Reflection, Blank Code, Vexed Sphere, From 0-1 and more. In the beginning of 2023 he launched his new imprint, Rituals.
