About The Artists
FJAAK
FJAAK, the Berlin-based duo of hardware heads, have been constantly making a name for themselves over the last half a decade. Having grown up together in Spandau on the outskirts of Berlin, Felix Wagner and Aaron Röbig began quite early to create all different kinds of music before ending up taking on the city’s heritage – techno – to make it their own.
Tapefeed
Tapefeed is an electronic music project by two Italian artists who are currently based in Italy. Their sound is a mix of styles, from intense techno to sophisticated experimental music, blending powerful percussion and tribal influences with a dynamic groove that ranges from standard 4/4 beats to more complex rhythms, all while featuring a strong UK bass influence. After gaining attention through their residency at Superstition in Village Underground, the duo has become a notable presence in the international techno scene, securing another residency at the London club Fabric since 2021. With a history of releases on esteemed labels like Houndstooth, Mord, and Abyss, Tapefeed established their own label, Inveterate, in 2021. The label serves as a platform for their unique sound and vision, inviting other producers to challenge norms and explore the limits of their creativity to push the boundaries of techno with fresh and unexpected elements.
Trovarsi
Hailing from Los Angeles, Trovarsi is a multifaceted electronic music composer, producer, and live artist known for her unique and boundary-pushing sound. She crafts her pulsing, Afrofuturistic atmospheres using a hybrid setup of modular and analogue synthesizers, drum machines, and Ableton. Beyond her releases on various electronic music labels and her captivating live performances, Trovarsi is deeply involved in building the music community. She is the host and curator of Transduction Signal on DubLab Radio, a monthly show that features live electronic artists, and she is a co-founder of the Southern California Synth Society, an organization dedicated to electronic music education and community events. Trovarsi also founded Frequency Shift, an international streaming festival that showcases female and gender-expansive electronic artists, further cementing her role as a key figure in both the creative and communal aspects of the electronic music world.
