Oscar Mulero is a hugely influential Spanish electronic musician and DJ who has been a leading figure in the underground techno scene since the early 1990s, with a prolific and enduring career that mirrors the evolution of dance music. Absorbing new trends from the late '80s onward, his decades of tireless work behind the decks have been key to his genius, complemented by a substantial production discography since the late '90s, including countless vinyls, studio albums, and remixes. He runs his own successful imprints, Warm Up (founded in 2000) and PoleGroup Records (founded in 2004), both of which have reached over 50 releases, and since 2013, he has explored audiovisual performance with projects like Light and Dark, Biolive, and Monochrome AV. After celebrating his thirty-year career peak with a major event in 2019 and navigating the touring hiatus of 2020 and 2021 by focusing on studio work and limited Monochrome performances, Mulero returned to a full gig schedule toward the end of 2021, marking 20 years in production with new releases on labels like Token, Semantica, and his own Warm Up Recordings, featuring the limited vinyl series WUBC.
