How Do You Overcome Creative Blocks?
To get over creative blocks, I like to take a step away from my project and do something unrelated. Taking my dog for a walk, or even just relaxing can help clear my mind.
How Are You Finding Your Voice as an Artist?
Finding your voice can be tricky. I aim to stand out with my uplifting vocal samples and euphoric build-ups. My music not only gets people moving but also inspires hearts and minds, creating a sense of unity and joy.
How Do You Work Towards Self Promotion?
My preferred platform for promoting my music is SoundCloud. SoundCloud is like a resume for musicians, as it showcases all of my music and DJ mixes in one place. Recently, I've started using Repost Exchange, which is a community of people who repost and support like-minded artists on SoundCloud. I've gained over 250 followers on SoundCloud in just a few months.
How Do You Network With Others?
Attending our monthly Techno events has been one of the best ways for me to make meaningful connections. Having personal conversations and getting to know people one-on-one has been invaluable. I've also booked out-of-state DJs for my events, leading to friendships and opportunities to play in their state. Additionally, I've made great friends through social media, and I'm currently part of a group chat with techno friends based in Canada.
