Dan Sesko is an emerging techno producer from the city of Odense in Denmark, and his invigorating style has all the ingredients for creating hands in the air moments on the dance floor. He starts 2024 with a release on Barbuto's Mavic Music, which is a record label that has previously signed music by people such as Mha iri and Charles D (USA).

Combining thickset percussion with mesmerising synth lines, Dan Sesko’s tracks have aggressive energy and uplifting melodies wrapped in dark tones. His style is a perfect fit for Mavic Music, and his “Solar Ray” EP has already picked up support from the likes of Charlotte de Witte, Anna Reusch and Ilario Alicante.

First up, “Solar Ray” gets the release moving with its pounding kick drum and invigorating lead synth, which fills the track with a euphoria that contrasts against the backdrop of its dark atmosphere. Soulful vocal textures add a feel-good vibe to the exhilarating energy of the track’s powerful groove.

Second, “Finally” is the more aggressive of the tracks, as its thrashing offbeat hi-hat, thumping kick drum, and galloping bassline deliver a full-throttle groove. Intense acid synths and the breakdown’s eerie vocal sample add to the ferocity of this powerful track.
