Manchester-based DJ Kander has been making waves in the electronic music scene with his recent R007 release on Kobosil and Somewhen's notorious R Label. His blend of techno and industrial sounds has garnered attention for its innovative approach to the techno genre and his knack for delivering vibrant live performances.

Kander's R007 release on R Label showcases his talent for crafting dark, moody techno tracks that pack a punch, mixed with deeper, emotional cuts infused with a heavily inspired UK sound. The EP features four original tunes, each offering a unique sonic journey that is both atmospheric and intense.

The opening track, "Don’t Say A Word," sets the mood with pounding beats, distorted synths, and eerie vocals. This track immediately captivates the listener as Kander skillfully weaves layers of intricate percussion and eerie textures, building to a climactic crescendo that is sure to ignite dance floors around the world.

Speaking about the project, he says, “I saw this release as a key way to express my versatility through my productions. I wanted to make a bold statement moving forward by releasing a B Side of breaks and jungle influenced tracks. Although very different from my other productions, they never felt a million miles away due to my use of sampling breaks and UK rave within my techno tracks. The concept was formed to give insight into the sounds that inspired and continue to inspire the Kander project.”
