What’s in Your Toolbox: Wehbba
Check out Wehbbas's 6 must have tracks ready for the dancefloor!

Artists will never come unprepared to a party. They always bring a toolbox packed with tracks that are truly dance floor destroyers. “What’s in Your Toolbox” features artists’ secret weapons, aka, the tracks they don’t leave out of their USB. In this installment, thriving techno star Wehbba gives us his 6 choice picks.
Over the years, Wehbba has unveiled a consistent stream of stand-out music to add to his flourishing discography, including three full length albums that span the course of a decade. As well as chartering original releases via benchmark labels Drumcode, Second State, 2020Vision, Bedrock, Elevate, Knee Deep In Sound and Systematic, Wehbba has delivered a series of resonant remixes for the likes Laurent Garnier, Danny Tenaglia, John Digweed, Stacey Pullen, Joseph Capriati, Stephan Bodzin, Marc Houle, and ANNA — some of the most respect artists in the industry.
ANNA & Wehbba – Unio Mystica
This is a very special track. It’s the first real collab I’ve done with my partner in studio and in life for the past 16 years, and we picked a very special reason to make it. Amelie invited us to join this compilation she was putting together to help those affected by the war in Ukraine. And we instantly took it, even thought we had virtually no time to work on new music at the time, we pulled this one out super fast and made it into the compilation. I’ve been playing this both in my DJ sets and on my Live Station sets and it’s a beast!
Anfisa Letyago – Orizzonte (Adiel Remix)
I just love the drive on this one, Adiel made it super trippy with the arrangement, and when that hook kicks in during the breakdown it makes people loose their s…minds. Crazy tune, play it all the time in all kinds of sets.
Planetary Assault Systems – Say It Loud
Luke Slater is the king, and when he gets funky like this you just can’t beat him. I love this tune cause it’s always a great connector in my sets, it bridges different moments effortlessly and it fits pretty much in any part of any set, anytime you wanna make a switch and cause havoc, this is your tune.
Stephan Bodzin – ISAAC (ANNA Remix)
This combo couldn’t fail. Anna delivered an amazingly delicate remix of a superb track from Stephan’s latest album. She managed to keep the essence of the original with all of it’s magnificent arpeggios, but turned it into a peaktime track that works wonders to keep the energy of a set going, while dialing it down after some more intense moments.
Reinier Zonneveld & Speedy J – Kicktrack
Now this combo was a surprise for me, a very welcome one! Speedy J is prob one of my favorite producers of all time who made some of my favorite music of all time, and Reinier stepped up to this collab in absolute top form. This one is a warehouse banger that has the perfect balance of abrasive and cool, of edginess and groove.
Wehbba – Dynamo
This track is a real “Dynamo”, it spins out of control and creates an immense amount of energy when I drop it, it’s one of those tunes that never goes unnoticed, you know? It makes a statement. I’ve made it back when we weren’t able to go out to a club or a rave or whatever, and it pretty much sums up the amount of energy I had built in that needed to be put out, and I’m incredibly happy it’s out now on my first original release on Drumcode since my album 2 years ago.
