Sensing the call of the beat in the deep, tech, and techno sounds that swept across the continent in the late 1990s, Bosnian DJ Sinisa Tamamovic began his journey behind the decks with an unrelenting string of gigs in his hometown of Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina. His early sets captivated local audiences, laying the foundation for what would become a distinguished and far-reaching career.
Over the years, Sinisa built a reputation for hosting mind-bending parties across Europe, drawing a devoted following of fans eager to cross borders for a taste of his signature twisted techno, tech-house, and minimal beats.
Since 1999, Sinisa has collaborated with fellow Banja Luka DJ Mladen Tomic through their Urban Beat organization. Recognizing a unique opportunity in Bosnia’s recovering music scene, Urban Beat quickly evolved into one of the country’s leading event promoters, bringing top-tier international talent to satisfy a hungry local crowd.
Sinisa’s reach extended far beyond Bosnia, as he showcased his exceptional mixing skills and personal style across Europe, Latin America, and the United States, performing at some of the world’s finest festivals. His move to London, England in 2011 marked a new chapter, further expanding his musical journey.
A pivotal moment came in December 2005 with Sinisa’s first original vinyl release, opening doors to international recognition. Since then, he has delivered a steady stream of original tracks and remixes for some of the biggest names and record labels in the industry. His impressive discography includes releases on Dubfire’s iconic Sci+Tec label, Tronic, Mindshake Records, Plus 8 Records, Second State, Kraftek, Truesoul, Yoshitoshi, Elevate, Senso Sounds, Systematic Recordings, and more.
In addition to his own productions, Sinisa has continued to nurture fresh talent and established artists through his own label, Night Light Records, contributing to the evolution of the global techno and tech-house scene.
