Casmalia is a producer, DJ, songwriter, and live vocalist residing in San Diego, CA, who has taken the west coast house music scene by storm. A classically trained musician with a degree in audio engineering, Casmalia has been consistently churning out club weapons since her freshman EP in 2017 on Hood Politics Records. She has since earned affiliations with Insomniac Records, mau5trap, Night Bass, Box of Cats, IN/ROTATION, Farris Wheel, Space Yacht, and more. She was named one of “2022’s Artists to Watch” by both Nightenjin and EDM Identity, citing both her increasing festival bookings and successful releases. Her tracks have seen support from David Guetta, Claude VonStroke, AC Slater, Green Velvet, Bijou, Gene Farris, Noizu, Kyle Watson, and many more across both the EDM and tech house worlds.
After her widely acclaimed release “Four Letter Word” on the mau5trap/Insomniac Records compilation album in 2021, her tour schedule took off and hasn’t slowed down since. Some highlights include singing live at both EDC Las Vegas and the DoLab stage at Coachella, a 2023 Splash House debut, closing for Diplo at a sold out show at The Midway in San Francisco, performing at both the 9 and 10 year anniversary parties for AC Slater’s Night Bass in 2023 and 2024, and providing direct support for both Kyle Watson and Noizu on their 2023 tours. She recently hosted the May 2023 edition of Femme House sessions, partnering with LP Giobbi’s flagship project to provide free educational resources to women and LGBT+ artists. Casmalia is also a Groove Cruise resident, playing 4 festivals in a row including a b2b2b with VNSSA and LP Giobbi on Groove Cruise 2024.
