6AM has joined forces with @PFENNINGERxORTNER to bring you a bi-monthly DJ and live mix series that promises to be an immersive journey through the realms of upcoming and established downtempo electronica DJs and producers. With a global perspective and an initial emphasis on Switzerland and Los Angeles, USA, the NEXT series is set to be a melting pot of talent and sonic exploration from all over the world.
The core ethos of the NEXT electronic music channel is to celebrate the beauty of slower BPM electronic music, spanning across genres from enchanting electronica and mesmerizing trip-hop to the hypnotic grooves of downtempo and house. This series aims to shine a spotlight on the masterminds behind the music, unraveling their unique styles, and seamlessly merging different cultures through the artful selection of sound.
In episode 005 of the NEXT mix series, we feature Eternal Moment. ETERNAL MOMENT is the brainchild of Anatolii Savran, a distinguished musician and producer born in 1991 in Kyiv, Ukraine. From a young age, Anatolii was captivated by the world of music. At just 16, he ventured into music composition, crafting his first tracks that would lay the foundation for his future endeavors.
For nearly a decade, Anatolii immersed himself in the dark minimal-techno genre. This period was marked by relentless experimentation and refinement of his sound, as he navigated the intricate landscapes of electronic music. His early works, characterized by deep, minimalistic beats, resonated with a niche audience and showcased his potential as a budding artist.
In 2018, Anatolii experienced a profound internal transformation that altered the trajectory of his musical career. This pivotal moment led to the creation of ETERNAL MOMENT, a downtempo project that initially embraced ethno-shamanic electronic elements. The project marked a departure from his earlier style, reflecting a deeper, more philosophical approach to music. Over time, ETERNAL MOMENT evolved, incorporating more electronic downtempo influences while retaining its core essence.
From that moment on, Anatolii began to view his music not merely as a hobby but as his life's true calling. The hallmark of the ETERNAL MOMENT style is its philosophical depth and rich, immersive soundscapes. Anatolii's unwavering commitment to producing high-quality sound is evident in every track he creates. Despite not having formal musical education, he has honed his craft through sheer dedication and self-teaching. He meticulously writes, mixes, and masters all his tracks, demonstrating an exceptional level of skill and artistry.
Anatolii's talent and dedication quickly garnered attention in the music industry. The first releases of ETERNAL MOMENT were featured on top downtempo labels such as ArtVibes, Pipe&Pochet, and Monada. These early successes paved the way for further releases on over 20 esteemed labels, including Magician on Duty, Frooogs Records, and Cosmovision Records. Each release was met with critical acclaim, solidifying ETERNAL MOMENT's reputation in the downtempo scene.

What characterises your music (mixes or productions)?
Of course, this is production, I very rarely record mixes.
How did you end up in the downtempo genre?
When I first heard combinations of oriental instruments with electronic slow music, it was in 2018.
Who do you think is the most exciting downtempo producer at the moment?
I don’t have a specific favorite, now of course Berlin sets trends and many producers make great material from there. Also, many young names appear and they make a very good sound.
Could you walk us through your creative process when you produced your NEXT mix?
It is always difficult for me to answer questions like “Creative process”, it is always a certain state, usually I understand what my next mix should be based on the material collected in advance, I also like to accelerate the mix starting from 90-100 bpm and ending with 115-117 bpm, this also works very well on the dance floor.
With which artists would you like to work with in the future and why?
I also won’t name specific names, because I don’t want to work with anyone in particular; new acquaintances and life circumstances always lead to this.
What can we expect from you in the near future? Any upcoming projects, releases or events?
Later this year I will have a release on Seraphin Audio. Also, after a long pause, my label Rithmcode will finally start, with a new breath, an updated concept.
Any parting words or messages for those listening to your mix?
I wish you a complete immersion in this journey.
Thanks!
