AM.I is the latest artist to feature original music on Clif Jack’s new record label MJA the Vision, and her ‘Distorted Life’ EP features two exhilarating techno tracks.
Known for her DJ sets at events such as Tomorrowland, AM.I has already been leaving her mark on the European techno scene. Living in Belgium, AM.I has also proven herself to be a skilled producer whose tracks have found home on prestigious record labels like Metodi Hristov's Set About, and this is her debut on MJA the Vision.
Already finding support amongst some of techno’s elite, this release has been popular with the likes of Spartaque, Joris Voorn, and Pan-Pot.
“Distorted Life” is first on the release, and it orientates around a mammoth kick drum and gritty bassline, which forms a foundation for the shimmering pads that are laced with euphoria. It’s an intense track with unstoppable energy that’s great for peak time on a dance floor.
“Low Tension” changes the mood with deep pads and a more spacious atmosphere that’s powered by an acid bassline, as it progresses towards the epic tension of the breakdown. It’s a great melodic techno track that has similarities to others like Tale Of Us and Inella.
