Bay Area Artists Nem & Davani Drop Doordasher EP
NEM and Davani team up for a, two-track tech house EP, Doordasher, out now on House of Hustle.
The Doordasher EP comes in fresh o NEM’s decks following the boom it created while supporting Westend and John Summit for Experts Only’s Tahoe edition and his recent set ahead of J.Worra in the Serbian’s hometown, San Francisco.
After receiving the nod from Westend and lively reactions on the dance floor NEM found a home for his ‘Doordasher’ EP with fellow Bay Area producer, Davani, by making a return to House Of Hustle. NEM shares around the release,
“This EP was a collaboration between me and Davani, who have known each other for years and have been friends in music scene but never had time with busy schedules to make some collaborations. Over time we were shooting back projects/stems/samples to find something that fits and landed on these 2 heavy hitters.
We've started o with the idea that would bring that underground tech house energy, and with heavy synth/stabs and punchy lows, this became a proper weapon.”
You will find the opening track holding a beat that instantly dives deeper and keeps the buzz rolling through the crowd. Its exciting how this two-track EP unfolds with ‘Step Up’ stretching the realms of house music to awaken the dance floor. Stand by the speaker and listen how the rolling organic beats and wicked electronic music science coalesce for a wonderful body of work.
NEM has been popping up everywhere lately from the Apres parties in Colorado to opening for Dom Dolla alongside All Talk at Audio San Francisco. While his involvement with Fresh Start at the Midway SF was a phenomenal way to start the new year.
Davani has roots deeply intertwined in the pulsating beats of San Francisco. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant energy of the Bay, his music reflects the mix of cultures and sounds that define the region. Davani’s House Of Hustle debut springs o a release on
Soundproof Records and from under Neon Bucket Management, who are bringing SF a night with Lucati on June 7th.
Around his House Of Hustle debut, Davani throws down some words, “this release means a lot to me because NEM is one of my biggest inspirations in this scene. We cooked some undeniable heat, and the fact that it’s dropping on House of Hustle is just insane.”
