BRIANNA Brings Techno Therapy With 'Hypnotherapy'
“Hypnotherapy” is out now on Barbuto's record label, Mavic Music
BRIANNA is a fresh-faced techno talent from Sydney in Australia, and she delivers two heavyweight tracks with her debut release, Hypnotherapy.
“Hypnotherapy” is out now on Barbuto's record label, Mavic Music, and it’s the first official release by BRIANNA, whose music shows a high level of production skill.
Her style has similarities to other artists such as UMEK and The YellowHeads, who combine euphoria and strong melodies with thundering drums, and it’s already getting DJ support from the likes of A*S*Y*S, Cristian Varela, and Pan-Pot.
First up is the title track, “Hypnotherapy,” which is the more driving of the two cuts, and it orientates around flickers of acid and a bleeping melody with a hypnotic flow. The heavy kick drum and rumbling bassline ensure the track bangs in all the right places, and it’s got all the ingredients a dance floor needs.
“Turn the Night” is the other track on the release, and it layers the rising euphoria of the ethereal pads with robust drums and the captivating namesake vocal sample. It’s a little deeper than its predecessor, but still has a peak time energy that will ignite a dance floor.
