For Producer and DJ Teocino, music has long served as a foundation, guiding his path from childhood into his evolving presence within the Electronic Music scene. A love initially explored through the piano and guitar, Teocino later discovered Electronic Music, finding himself inspired and curious: pulled in by the genre’s expansive and continuously evolving landscape. As he delved into the intricacies of various sub-styles, from Tech House to Melodic Techno, drawing influence from a diverse array of Artists on the scene, Teocino made his first steps into defining his own path; embarking on a journey that he continues to navigate through today.

 

Initiating himself in the world of DJing in 2021, Teocino first learnt the technicalities and skillset required to successfully command a crowd before making the shift onto the professional circuit in 2024. A project still in its infancy, Teocino has nevertheless made a promising start with the opportunities he has secured to date. Having performed at clubs across his home city, Basel, Switzerland, including top venues such as Nordstern and Viertel Klub, he continues to develop a reputation within the local scene and beyond. An impact that has been felt on an international scale, Teocino has already had the opportunity to close for VIP names like Maddix, TH;EN, Hozho, and Nils Hoffman, highlighting his momentum and signalling his growing potential.

 

Reflecting on his evolution, Teocino notes:

 

“I started producing in April 2024, and since then, it’s been an intense journey of discovering my sound and growing as an artist. Artists like Maddix, Hardwell, and Armin van Buuren have been big inspirations for me, and having the chance to support Maddix has been a huge moment in my journey so far.”

 

As he continues to shape a sound that feels authentic to him, Teocino manages to blend sonic familiarity and a forward-thinking approach. Rooted in Mainstage Techno and Trance, he draws influence from artists such as Avicii, Martin Garrix, Swedish House Mafia, Alesso and David Guetta, developing a signature sound that reflects both a broad musical appreciation and clarity in the direction he seeks to lead with his work. From blending melody and rhythm to introducing heavy-hitting low-ends that hold power and momentum, Teocino’s music is crafted with intent. Having cultivated a Classical Music foundation, he brings a distinct musicality that allows him to shape emotion and experience, using harmony and stylistic progression to craft journeys that resonate with listeners.

 

 

When speaking on his current creative direction, he mentions:

 

“Right now, I’m focused on a blend of mainstage techno and trance — powerful, aggressive drops combined with emotional trance melodies and breaks. That contrast between energy and emotion is what really defines my music.”
