Suleiman Records Closes a Decade-Long Chapter with Sampler Vol. 1
The release continues the tradition of featuring genre leaders, as Rhadow and DJ W!LD
Suleiman Records presents Sampler Vol. 1, which is a heavyweight deep tech/minimal compilation, featuring Rhadow, DJ W!LD, Cesare vs Disorder, Jackspot, and Of Norway.
The release marks the end of an era, as after a decade of releases, it’s the final offering from Suleiman Records, which is a Canadian record label run by Darem Aissa.
Having operated for a decade, Suleiman Records has a catalogue including music from genre leaders such as Alexi Delano, Nima Gorji, Robbie Akbal, Butane, Dave Aju, the late Alland Byallo, Kris Wadsworth, Robert Babicz, and numerous others of equal note.
This release continues the tradition of featuring genre leaders, as Rhadow and DJ W!LD need no introduction to deep tech fans. Cesare vs Disorder is also a decorated deep tech artist, boasting music on labels such as Rawax and D-edge.
Of Norway are known best for melodic releases on the likes of Sasha’s Last Night On Earth and John Digweed’s Bedrock, but show off a versatile sound with their deep tech track on this release.
Jackspot is a melodic techno/progressive house artist, who has produced a deep tech track reminiscent of classic James Holden and his iconic record label Border Community imprint.
The tracks by Rhadow, DJ W!LD and Of Norway are all slick deep tech with immersive pads, spacious percussion and rolling basslines. Cesare vs Disorder incorporates a UK garage influence within his two-step groove, and Jackspot delivers a modulating, melodic masterpiece.
