The percussive and hypnotic beats, polyrhythms and tonalities of Gustavo Bassani's sound identity have been enchanting techno lovers in Brazil - and around the world. Since the beginning of his career in electronic music, first with the deGust project, his notoriety has been expanding more and more, reaching spaces of great expression; not for nothing, his music has been played by DJs such as Richie Hawtin, Nina Kraviz, Alex Justino, MARRØN, Andre Salata and many more. And for this year, his goal is to fly even higher.

The first step in this journey is literally to continue the excellent work he has done in his career, and it is this proposal that he presents in "You Know The Rules", an EP that marks another concise step in his trajectory, debuting on the Planet Rhythm label. In the three original tracks, Bassani reinforces his refined technique and dynamic musical profile, built on his experience as a multi-instrumentalist, producer, DJ and sound designer.

The EP opens with the title track, which sets the tone for the release, with an energetic vibe and striking bassline and progression. Next up, "Keep Going" has a distinctive melody highlighted by a series of chords, chimes and sensual vocals, while "Swing Shift" takes a more intimate approach, built on chords intertwined with atmospheric textures. Finally, "Sharpening" comes in sharp, seeking a more charged and synergistic proposition, with strong bass contrasting with the metallic synths.
