About the Artists
Ben Klock
Since becoming a Berghain resident in 2005, Ben Klock has become a leading figure in Berlin's techno scene, synonymous with the city's vibrant music landscape. His residency at the renowned club has been instrumental in his rise to prominence as a highly sought-after DJ and producer. Known for his diverse track selection and ability to connect with the crowd, Klock's intense yet emotionally resonant sets, whether at large festivals or intimate clubs, showcase his mastery of creating a unique atmosphere. His early marathon sets honed his skills and reputation, and even his shorter sets today demonstrate the intricate narratives and fluid transitions that define his DJ style. This talent led to his compilation of fabric 66 in 2012 and his BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix of the Year win in 2015. While now focused on touring, Klock's early works on Ostgut Ton, including his collaboration with Marcel Dettmann on "Dawning," remain landmarks, with his album One (2009) considered a seminal techno long-player. He has also lent his remixing skills to artists like Kerri Chandler and Depeche Mode. Furthermore, Klock heads up Klockworks, a label initially for his own raw productions but now a platform for showcasing diverse sounds and supporting emerging artists like Trevino, DVS1, and Etapp Kyle, with label showcases held at venues worldwide.

Sterac
STERAC is one of many aliases used by Amsterdam electronic music pioneer Steve Rachmad to represent different facets of his musical output. While other monikers explore dub, disco, or house influences, STERAC focuses on the darker, deeper, and more uncompromising side of techno. Releasing signature tracks on influential labels like M-Plant, Tresor, Klockworks, and Afterlife, STERAC's work has been remixed by artists like Ricardo Villalobos and Marc Romboy. Rather than chasing trends, STERAC's music maintains a timeless quality, consistently influencing new generations of artists and parties. This dedication to his craft has earned STERAC regular appearances at renowned venues and festivals worldwide, including Awakenings, Berghain, Movement Detroit, Fabric, and D-Edge.
