DGTL, the groundbreaking electronic music festival, is set to return to the iconic NDSM Docklands in Amsterdam from March 29th to 31st, 2024. Promising an explosive lineup featuring global icons, dance floor heavyweights, and rising stars, DGTL Amsterdam 2024 is poised to be a transformative experience for music enthusiasts worldwide.
FRIDAY
Thousands of music fans from across the planet will flock to the Dutch capital for the DGTL experience, and from the moment doors open on Friday festival goers can expect an onslaught of sonic perfection. UK maestro Bonobo returns after his phenomenal, viral Boiler Room set at DGTL ’23, looking to deliver more of the same dance floor-destroying moments. Long-time friend of DGTL and one of the world’s most revered electronic artists, DJ Koze is back and looking to take things up a gear; and riding high on the critical acclaim of her stunning debut album MADRES, Sofia Kourtesis promises to provide one of the must-see sets of DGTL Amsterdam 2024. Add to the mix hotly anticipated DJ sets from Maribou State and Coco Coquelicot and it’s one hell of an opening night from the DGTL powers-that-be.
SATURDAY
Saturday’s DGTL line-up is unsurprisingly stacked to the rafter with a blistering array of talent, with lovers of all things electronica absolutely spoilt for choice. Now cemented as one of techno’s brightest stars, Ki/Ki returns to deliver a headline set that fans of the harder sounds won’t want to miss. Âme & Dixon come together for a very rare B2B set, ARTBAT are back to follow up on their massive 2022 DGTL showcase, Brazilian star Valentina Luz is in the house with her furious selection of house, techno and funk, and one of the most hotly anticipated sets of the whole festival, Dutch melodic mastermind Mees Salomé will perform his first ever live show. Boiler Room, which now moves inside the vast halls of the NDSM Warehouse, hosts legendary vinyl-only powerhouse Freddy K (who also goes b2b with Blawan), and furious bass moves courtesy of Femme Bass Mafia don DJ Fuckoff.
SUNDAY
Sunday, and the energy at NDSM Docklands gets turned up to 11. One of the hottest artists on the planet right now, Marlon Hoffstadt aka DJ Daddy Trance touches down to officially cancel Sunday as a day of rest. WhoMadeWho, who headlined DGTL USA 2023, bring their live show to DGTL’s flagship event, as do DGTL ADE 2022 alumni Worakls Band, and Patrick Mason, who killed it back at ADE 2023. Fresh from her debut album with band The Charm in 2023, Avalon Emerson returns to her DJ roots, looking to take things up a notch from her unforgettable Lowlands set. From South Africa, Amapiano trailblazers Major League Djz look set to bring some serious heat to proceedings, while closer to home, Dutch man-of-the-moment Chris Stussy is on hand to bring DGTL crowds to their feet for a final crescendo of all things house. On the Boiler Room stage, DGTL Records mainstay Coloray makes his Boiler Room debut, LSDXOXO delivers his first Boiler Room set in five years, while Boys Noize celebrates two decades at the helm of global dance music.
Additionally, the iconic Boiler Room stage will be making a return, but this year it's moving inside, away from the slope outside like last year.
Inclusivity and safe space policy
DGTL is committed to fostering an inclusive environment that extends a warm welcome to all. Building on the success of the DGTL Safe(r) Project, the 2024 edition reaffirms their commitment to an inclusive experience through the ongoing adoption of their comprehensive safe space policy. This includes the integration of their festival ethics and extensive crew training programs. Regardless of sex, race/ethnic origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, cultural background, religious affiliation, age, physical or mental ability, all are invited to partake in this uniquely enriching and welcoming experience.
Sustainability & Responsibility
DGTL has established itself not only as a global music powerhouse, but also as a pioneer in sustainability. In 2022, DGTL became the world's first circular dance festival. Over the next few years DGTL plans to go even further, taking its portfolio beyond circularity using the Doughnut Economy Model. Visitors will be encouraged to take responsibility for their travel emissions, in line with DGTL's continual commitment to organizing events that actively produce the lowest carbon emissions possible (for more information watch DGTL’s ‘Road To Circularity’ documentary).
DGTL Amsterdam 2024 is not just a festival; it's a movement – a celebration of music, environmental consciousness, and the power of unity. Join DGTL in this unparalleled experience that transcends boundaries and sets the stage for a sustainable and inclusive future.
