Techno artists Filippo Peschi and AnDe Trois have joined forces on their upcoming EP 'Manumission.' Filippo Peschi, known for his impressive history of releases on various renowned labels, and AnDe Trois, with a background in music education and sound engineering, are a techno duo on the rise. The two talk to SIXAM to explore the creative journey and inspirations behind this collaboration, as well as the decision to release it on Autektone Dark and future projects.

Hi Filippo Peschi and AnDe Trois! Thanks so much for talking to SIX AM how are you both?

Hello, we are fine thanks. We are very excited about our upcoming collaborations and to be able to share them with your audience.

 

So to get things started you two have a collaboration coming out called “Manumission”. Can you tell us about the creative journey and inspirations behind your collaborative EP? How did your individual backgrounds in techno music influence the project?

We started the collab after sharing the console with Markantonio( both released on his label) Being the same age, our musical background is very similar, it was very easy to agree with the chosen sounds.

Clearly you both have released on well known labels and probably could have released on many different ones. How did you guys decide that this EP was best to release on Autektone Dark? What about the Autektone Dark label matches with what you hope the listeners of this EP will experience while listening to these tracks?

After both released on international labels we thought that our collaboration was in line with the audience of Autektone Dark because the owner is T78, a great world-renowned and Italian techno artist... like us.

 

Filippo Peschi, you have a notable history of releasing music on various well-known labels. How has your experience in the techno music scene shaped your approach to this collaboration with AnDe Trois?

Having released on well-known labels helped give the right sound based on my experience.

 

AnDe Trois, you have a background in studying music from a young age. Could you share how your musical education and specialization as a sound engineer have contributed to the production and sound quality of "Manumission"?

Music is sharing, exchanging ideas from various musical aspects and discussing the various steps that lead to the conclusion of a project.

 

Have you both worked together before? What have you learned in this process of collaboration? Any key take aways you both have from making this particular EP?

Of course, this is only the first collaboration of this year, because having worked together in different professional studios we noticed there was a great musical feeling.
