So, with the year already off to a stellar start, SIX AM talks to the talented producer and DJ, Raw Ideology to discover his goals for the next year and gain insight into his creative ambitions.

 

What musical direction or theme are you most excited to explore in your upcoming projects for the new year, and why does it resonate with you?

That’s the neat part, I don’t really know! But one thing you can expect of me is that I’m always gonna be true to myself, never following trends and I’ll always release whatever I feel like it.

I spent too many years trying to get to labels formulas cause I thought that would be the only way to be accepted but that’s not the reality anymore, trust your ideals and people will love you as well; I think being honest is everything in this business, you see several artists booming really fast but falling really fast as well, the only ones that stay are the ones that don’t really care about anything besides their own personality.

 

As you enter the new year, what goals have you set for your music career, and how do you plan to work towards achieving them?

I’m taking it easy for now and working on my things with an easy mind, but I want to put more content out there and get more numbers.

 

Can you provide a glimpse into any specific releases or milestones we can expect from you in the early months of the new year?

Well, I’ve been cooking a lot this past year and have really dived into creating, so expect a lot of releases!

 

Reflecting on your musical journey, what lessons from the past year do you intend to carry forward to ensure growth and success in the new year?

Just be calm and take it easy, doing things with an unbalanced mind never ends well.

 

Are there any new techniques, equipment, or software innovations you plan to incorporate into your music production process in the new year?

Yes, I want to invest in an analogue mastering rack.

 

Are there any artists you hope to collaborate with in the coming year, and what kind of creative synergy do you envision?

Not really collaborations but I discovered the Vault Sessions crew and I would love to play for their parties at some point.

 

How do you see your sound evolving in the new year? Are there any genres or musical elements you aim to incorporate or experiment with?

That’s hard to say, I’m not really fond of implementing other genres into Techno, rather I like to try to evolve my own style more and more.

 

How do you plan to manage your time and resources effectively to pursue your musical ambitions?

Well, I treat this as an office job, and I set myself deadlines to do and finish things so that helps me to work on other things in my life easily; usually, artists lack discipline, so they can get lost in time and tend to be inefficient.

 

What do you hope your music will communicate or evoke in your listeners in the new year? Is there a particular message or emotion you wish to convey through your work?

Well, I love to try to represent futuristic or other-worldly experiences in my songs and that’s was the whole reason why I chose this genre; I love sci-fi culture and always feel like I’m in a movie or game when listening to proper Techno, so that’s what I always aim for and is what we’re lacking with this Hard Techno wave out there.

 

As you step into the new year, what are your overall aspirations as a DJ/Producer, and what impact do you hope to have on the Electronic music industry and your audience?

Well, keep up the work, get numbers, travel more, and play in new countries - I’m on 10 countries right now and definitely want to raise that number, keep true to my message and everything else will come!
