Los Angeles Strong: We Are the City of Angels
Through LAs tragic ongoing fire crisis, we show each other why we are called the City of Angels.

Over the past week, devastating wildfires have swept through Los Angeles, claiming lives, destroying homes, and leaving countless Angelenos displaced. As of today, these fires have taken at least 24 lives, consumed more than 23,700 acres, and leveled over 12,300 structures. Firefighters are working tirelessly to contain the flames, with the largest blazes—the Palisades Fire, Eaton Fire, and Hurst Fire—continuing to burn. Evacuation orders remain in place some have thankfully been lifted, but officials are urging residents to prioritize safety above all else.
This is not just another news cycle. This is real. This is our city. And right now, Los Angeles needs us all to show up for one another.
More Than Music: The Power of Community
At 6AM, we’ve built our lives around music, nightlife, and community. The dance floor is where we come alive, where we connect, and where we escape the chaos of the world. But moments like this remind us that there are things far more important than the next event, the next set, or the next track release. Right now, our city is hurting. People have lost everything. Families are displaced. First responders are risking their lives. This is when community truly matters—when the music stops, and we’re left with only each other.
6AM decided to put a pause to our events along with our media coverage of artists and the music scene to be sensitive to the tragedy along with letting our own focus on their personal priorities, families, and friends.
Electronic music culture has always been about unity, about finding light in the darkness. Today, that spirit isn’t just needed on the dancefloor—it’s needed in the real world. The same energy we put into supporting our favorite artists and events, we need to put into supporting our fellow Angelenos.
A City of Angels in Action
One of the most inspiring things about Los Angeles is witnessing how people show up in times of crisis. Across the city, neighbors are volunteering and donating. DJs, promoters, and artists are using their platforms to offer services/help, raise funds and awareness. Firefighters and first responders are putting their lives on the line, working around the clock to protect our city.
Watching this level of selflessness should make every Angeleno proud. It’s proof that Los Angeles isn’t just about the glitz, the nightlife, or the Hollywood dream—it’s about the people. It’s about heart. We are called the City of Angels for a reason.

Moving Forward Together
These wildfires are a tragic reminder of how fragile life is. But they are also a testament to the strength of our community. The same unity we feel when we dance together under the same roof should extend beyond the warehouse walls. Let’s continue to be there for one another—not just in times of crisis, but always.
Los Angeles, we will rise from this. And when we do, let’s remember what truly matters: each other.
Stay safe. Stay strong. And take care of one another. We'll dance together again soon enough.
Keep an eye out on updates on where we will be contributing and helping as it's important for the community to know we plan to take action on top of being vocal and supportive online of the relief efforts.
