The Artist
D.Dan is a Berlin-based DJ and producer known for blending raw grooves, psychedelic elements, and a touch of machine-driven paranoia in his music. His impactful releases on labels like Lobster Theremin, Arsenik, Amniote Editions, and KAOS showcase a distinctive fusion of funky techno and acid, designed to energize dancefloors and create a percussive frenzy.
Having started his musical journey as a percussionist and drummer, D.Dan found his passion for DJing within Seattle's DIY techno scene, where he organized warehouse raves and basement parties. This rich background informs his intense yet nuanced track selections, which captivate audiences with both attitude and a hint of mystery. Currently, he serves as a resident DJ at Mala Junta, one of Berlin's prominent underground techno parties, where he collaborates with other innovative artists to push the boundaries of fast, groovy dance music.
