LA based label Shadow Wulf is back at it again, this time with their fourth various artists compilation featuring 17 original tracks from new and returning artists from across the world. Vol. 4 brings peak time / driving dark techno energy alongside progressive and minimal psytechno flavor for a true coverage of the label’s powerful sounds. The creators leading the pack this time include Roman Adam (DE), L-XIR (FR), Thomas Klipps (DE), Anina Owly (DE), Dani Sbert (SPA), Egomorph (ITA), Kleiman (MEX), Ian Cris (FR), Berto (DE), Artur Achziger (DE), Probe (FR), Rupt (FR), HNTZ (DK), B.A.N.D.O. (AUS), Synchronometry (USA), Dianthe (USA), Basam Cheema (USA), and xæXæx (USA).
Shadow Wulf emerged at the beginning of 2020 as the ferociously dark cub of existing House and Techno label Wulfpack. The new sister label was founded by producers Aaron Jacobs, Erin Parisi (Crescendoll), and Drew Blyther when they recognized an opportunity to fill a void in LA’s underground scene. Thanks to Shadow Wulf, the Dark Techno/Minimal sounds more popular overseas have found their place in the den of Southern California. The founders set out to collaborate with producers from around the world and provide a twisted auditory landscape for a global audience.
The past four years of regular and spectacular releases have made Shadow Wulf a familiar name among global darkside listeners. With nearly every release placing in the charts and featured on peak time / driving techno main pages with online music stores, and celebrated releases from distinguished and innovative artists like Carbon, Lampe, Krypta, Electrypnose, Breger, TiM TASTE, Maksim Dark, David Phoenix, Munkler, Monococ, and more – Shadow Wulf is leading the way within its respective subgenres in the USA, North America, and abroad. Great releases are always in the pipeline, and listeners never have to wait too long for more superb music from their favorite artists, or to discover new names making musical waves. All of these incredible releases have easily established the pack’s sound, and it’s clear Shadow Wulf has big plans ahead.
Shadow Wulf Vol. 4 is available now for pre-order on Beatport, and releases Friday March 15th to Beatport and Bandcamp.
If listeners are looking to experience the sounds locally, Shadow Wulf hosts an underground event series titled Darkside at various locations in the downtown Los Angeles area throughout the year.
