HIROKO YAMAMURA
Hiroko, representing Chicago, brings a unique edge to the city's house and techno scenes, drawing inspiration from classic science fiction and dark anime. Her introverted nature and affinity for fringe and nerdy interests shape her distinctive style and connection with the outsider community. On the decks, Hiroko transcends her isolation, energizing dance floors with a tribute to the House, Acid, and techno sounds that define the Chicago Rave Sound. She aims to show how music can provide solace during challenging times, creating an expressive space where those who feel out of place can find their significance within the culture.
DAVE CASTELLANI
David Castellani, an L.A.-based electronic producer and modular synthesist, is known for his peak-time, dance floor-driven techno that blends modern music production with the raw energy of analog hardware. Originally from Italy, Castellani began his musical journey in Chicago as a jazz-fusion percussionist before transitioning to electronic music production. His extensive catalogue includes releases, collaborations, and remixes with prominent artists like Mr.C, reflecting his deep connection to both the fundamentals and innovations of techno.
Now residing in Los Angeles, Castellani has established his record label, Noetic, which emphasizes dynamic and intelligent techno music. His work with modular synthesizers and analog equipment pushes boundaries, featuring hypnotic sound design, explosive leads, and futuristic palettes. Beyond music, Castellani is also involved in design through his art-driven fashion line, After Infinite, and co-founded the modular synthesizer company, Anti-Kulture.
ANASTASIA
Anastasia’s deep passion for textural rhythms and expertly crafted sets has earned her a growing fan base and prominent residencies, including at Veluda. Her sound is described as raw, propulsive, and hypnotic, reflecting her extensive experience living abroad in Japan. The eclectic Japanese music scene inspired her unique style, developed through time spent in listening bars, record stores, and local venues. Her debut in Iwakuni with the Three Tides series marked the start of her career, and she has since performed at renowned venues such as Mirador Barcelona, Blind Tiger, and Closer LA.
Now based in Los Angeles, Anastasia continues to share her love for music through experimental and dissonant soundscapes that evoke curiosity and immersive experiences. Her sets are characterized by versatile percussive layers, spiraling synths, and dark elements, blending expansive synth abstractions with erratic rhythms. Her music intertwines enigmatic sequences with atmospheric sounds, crafting a compelling narrative that engages and captivates her audience.
